  1. As a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Thailand’s cosmetics regulatory system adopts the guidelines of the ASEAN Cosmetics Directive (ACD) and is consistent with other ASEAN countries.
  2. The Thailand Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) is the department responsible for regulating cosmetics in Thailand. To sell cosmetics in Thailand, it is necessary to register the cosmetics product and maintain the Product Information File (PIF) before listing to ensure the safety of the cosmetics.
  3. The safety assessment is recorded in the form of a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR), which is also a key document of PIF. Selling cosmetics in Thailand must comply with these guidelines.
